Meet Amanda
Hi!! I’m Amanda DeJesus,
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and I’m really glad you’re here. I completed my undergraduate studies at Rider University and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University. I have experience working within community-based settings and supporting individuals navigating substance use and recovery. I’ve built my practice around supporting adults as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and the moments that feel overwhelming or stuck.
I work exclusively with adults ages 18 and up, supporting clients through concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, panic disorder, frontline workers, couples, bipolar disorder and more. I also have experience working with single-parent and divorced families, and I aim to meet each client exactly where they are, without judgment, and without pressure to have everything figured out.
My therapeutic style is integrative and client-centered, meaning I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. My approach focuses on meeting you where you are, creating a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I utilize evidence-based practices, mindfulness, body-based awareness techniques, and practical tools to help strengthen the connection between mind and body while supporting emotional growth and healing. I also have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
My goal is to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and real—where you can slow things down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned with who you are.
